Job summary

Cleanroom Industries Sdn. Bhd. is seeking a capable leader to manage project site operations in Gelang Patah, Johor. You will supervise project work, ensure ISO compliance and safety, and provide technical support to clients and subcontractors. The role includes procurement, progress tracking, and tender assistance.

We value strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills, with a willingness to travel and base in Gelang Patah. Proficiency in English and Bahasa Malaysia is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture or Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• 2+ years working experience in related field.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Proficient with visualization software such as AutoCAD.
• Good proficiency in English and Bahasa Malaysia, both verbal and written.
• Able to communicate and coordinate with all levels of people.
• Leadership, problem-solving skills and accountable.
• Willing to travel and work outstation when needed.
• Willing to be based in Gelang Patah, Johor.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and manage daily operational activities at the project site.
• Supervise project work and ensure compliance with plan/drawing, ISO requirements, and safety regulations.
• Provide technical support required by client and other subcontractors.
• Ensure compliance with company policies by team members.
• Maintain machinery/tools and office equipment.
• Procure raw materials and equipment for project use with approval.
• Monitor tools/materials for adequacy and smooth operation.
• Assist in tender submission documentation during bidding.
• Assist in recruitment of general workers (permanent or contract).
• Prepare progress claims reports and ensure timely submission.
• Monitor work progress, quality, and productivity to meet deadlines.
• Review engineering deliverables and initiate corrective actions.

Job description

To provide leadership and manage daily operational activities at the project site.

To supervise project work, ensure compliance with plan/drawing, ISO requirements and safety regulations.

To provide technical support required by client and other subcontractors.

To ensure compliance on company policy and procedures by team members.

To ensure good maintenance of company machineries/tools, office equipment and rented equipment.

To carry out raw material and equipment procurement for project use with approval from Superior.

To ensure tools and materials are adequate and sufficient for a smooth operation.

To monitor project costs and to verify sub-contractor progress and supplier billing.

To assist and prepare documents for tender submission during bidding process.

Assist in the recruitment process of general workers under permanent or contract.

Ensure accurate completion and timely submission of the progress claims reports.

To take charge and monitor the work progress, quality and productivity to meet project datelines.

Constantly review engineering deliverables and initiate appropriate corrective actions when needed.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture or Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• At least 2 years working experience in the related field.
• Proficient in Microsoft office.
• Proficient with visualization software such as AutoCAD.
• Good proficiency in English and Bahasa Malaysia, both verbal and written.
• Able to communicate and coordinate well with all levels of people.
• Possess good leadership, problem-solving skills and accountable.
• Willing to travel and work outstation when needed.
• Knowledge of ISO standards will be added advantages.
• Willing to be based in Gelang Patah, Johor.
