Job summary

SVS Renoz My Sdn. Bhd. in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a Diploma-qualified Quantity Surveyor to support cost management and tender documentation.

You will prepare bills of quantities, analyze costs, and monitor budgets throughout a project's life cycle. Ideal candidates have a Diploma in Quantity Surveying or related field, at least 1 year of relevant experience, proficiency with cost estimation software, and strong negotiation and communication skills.

Qualifications

Diploma in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in quantity surveying or cost management.
Proficiency in using relevant software for cost estimation and contract management.
Strong understanding of construction processes, materials, and regulations.
Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills.

Responsibilities

Prepare tender documents, contracts, bills of quantities, and other tender and contractual documents.
Analyze construction methods, materials, and programs to identify potential risks and opportunities.
Manage and control project costs from inception to completion, ensuring adherence to budget.
Negotiate with contractors and subcontractors on costs and contractual terms.
Conduct site visits to monitor progress and quality of work.
Prepare and submit monthly progress claims and final accounts.
Advise on procurement strategies and contract administration.
