Job summary

Reno Iconic Sdn Bhd in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to prepare cost estimates, budgets, BOQs, and tender submissions for M&E and construction projects.

You will take-offs from drawings, evaluate quotations, negotiate with suppliers, assess tenders, and certify progress claims, VO's, interim payments, and final accounts.

You will liaise with project teams and clients to manage commercial matters and monitor market pricing to support competitive tendering.

Qualifications

• Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management or related field.
• 3–5 years of tendering and project QS experience.
• Proficient in Excel, AutoCAD and QS software.
• Strong analytical, negotiation, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently, manage priorities and meet tight tender deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Prepare cost estimates, project budgets, BOQs and tender submissions for M&E and construction projects.
• Carry out quantity take-offs and cost analyses from drawings, specs and tender docs.
• Source, evaluate and negotiate quotations from suppliers/subcontractors.
• Evaluate tenders and recommend award proposals.
• Prepare and certify subcontractor progress claims, VOs, interim payments and final accounts.
• Liaise with project teams, consultants, clients, subcontractors and suppliers to manage commercial matters.
• Monitor market pricing and material cost trends to support competitive tendering and budgeting.
