Job summary

IKRAR JAYA BORNEO SDN BHD is seeking a Project Controller to lead scheduling, budgeting and work scope tracking for civil and building projects in Malaysia. You will analyse project metrics, identify delays or cost overruns, and coordinate with construction teams and clients to ensure on-time delivery.

The role requires a degree in civil or related field and at least 2 years of civil/building experience, with proficiency in MS Project or Primavera P6, advanced Excel, and familiarity with BIM.

• Project scheduling: Track progress with construction dept and clients
• Cost management & budgeting: monitor expenditures, material delivery and tracking
• Change order & claims: identify and tabulate variation orders, subcontractor and progress claims
• Material & resources planning: monitor resource loading (manpower, machinery and material)

Job description

To lead the scheduling, budgeting, work scope tracking and verification work done. To analyse and define Project work scope metrics, identify potential delays or cost overruns.

Key responsibilities

Project scheduling: Tracking work progress with construction department and clients

Cost management & Budgeting: Monitor project expenditures, material delivery and tracking

Change Order & Claims: identify and tabulate Variation order, subcontractor and company progress claim

Material & resources Planning: Monitor resource loading (manpower, machinery and material)

About you

Degree in civil, construction management, Quantity surveyor or equivalent

Min. 2 years experience within civil & building works

MS Project or primavera P6, Excel (advanced formula) and familiar with BIM
