Lumut Maritime Terminal seeks a Project Civil Engineer to support the RGT-3 Project, Jetty Lead responsibilities, and manage civil and structural scope from planning through project closure. You will coordinate resources, communications, and progress to ensure safe, compliant delivery.

The Project Civil Engineer is primary responsibility to support the RGT-3 Project, Jetty Lead in overseeing and managing various projects within the Division. Responsible for Civil & Structural scope in ensuring the successful execution of projects by coordinating activities, resources, and progress information, through effective coordination, communication, and support also managing all aspects of Project Planning, Project Execution and Project Closure for all projects as assigned by the Company.
Manages and coordinates the civil & structural within a building or project, ensuring their proper design, installation, and maintenance.
Developing detailed civil & structural designs, using CAD software to create drawings and layouts, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations standards also ensuring cost efficiency and technical accuracy.
Managing C&S aspects of projects, including scheduling, budgeting, and coordinating with contractors and other stakeholders. Optimize design and construction plans to achieve cost-effective solutions without compromising quality.
Liaise effectively with consultants, contractors, liaison teams, and government authorities to meet design compliance and delivery goals.
Overseeing the execution of C&S works on-site, ensuring they are constructed correctly and according to specifications.
Preparing and maintaining detailed documentation of C&S designs, calculations, and project progress.
Ensuring that all C&S works and installations comply with safety regulations and building codes.
Working closely with project managers, architects, and other engineers to ensure integrated project delivery. Collaborate with all Interdepartmental team of company to align project deliverables with user demands.
Support in ensuring that project deliverables meet quality standards and adhere to project requirements. Assist in conducting quality and control reviews and implementing improvements as needed.
Assist in identifying potential risks and developing mitigation strategies to minimize their impact on project outcomes. Monitor and manage risks throughout the project lifecycle.
Degree in Civil/Marine Engineering with minimum five (5) years' experience.
Proven expertise in managing end-to-end property development processes.
Strong understanding of regulatory guidelines and compliance requirements set by relevant authorities.
Excellent communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia (written and spoken).
Demonstrated leadership, analytical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
