Job description

We are seeking an experienced Mechanical base candidate to join our dynamic team at ATOMIC M&E SDN BHD. As a Mechanical Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing and implementing mechanical systems and solutions that support the company's engineering projects. This full-time position is based in Iskandar Puteri, Johor, and offers excellent opportunities for professional growth and development.

What you'll be doing

• Designing and drafting mechanical systems, such as HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection, to meet project requirements
• Conducting feasibility studies, cost analyses, and performance evaluations to optimise mechanical systems
• Coordinating with cross-functional teams, including architects, electrical engineers, and construction personnel, to ensure seamless project delivery
• Monitoring and troubleshooting mechanical systems during the installation and commissioning phases
• Preparing detailed technical reports, drawings, and documentation to support project deliverables
• Staying up-to-date with industry trends, regulations, and best practices in mechanical engineering

What we're looking for

• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar role, preferably in the construction or engineering industry
• Proficient in the use of CAD software, such as AutoCAD, for designing and drafting mechanical systems
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make informed decisions
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
• Familiarity with relevant building codes, regulations, and standards in the mechanical engineering field
