Job summary

ATOMIC M&E SDN BHD is seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer to design, develop, and implement mechanical systems for diverse projects in Iskandar Puteri, Johor. The role focuses on HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection design, with cross-functional collaboration across architects and electrical engineers.

Ideal candidates will hold a degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering with at least 1 year of relevant experience, strong CAD skills, and a proactive, team-oriented mindset to deliver

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer to join our dynamic team at ATOMIC M&E SDN BHD. As a Mechanical Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing and implementing mechanical systems and solutions that support the company's engineering projects. This full-time position is based in Iskandar Puteri, Johor, and offers excellent opportunities for professional growth and development.

What you'll be doing

Designing and drafting mechanical systems, such as HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection, to meet project requirements

Conducting feasibility studies, cost analyses, and performance evaluations to optimise mechanical systems

Coordinating with cross-functional teams, including architects, electrical engineers, and construction personnel, to ensure seamless project delivery

Monitoring and troubleshooting mechanical systems during the installation and commissioning phases

Preparing detailed technical reports, drawings, and documentation to support project deliverables

Staying up-to-date with industry trends, regulations, and best practices in mechanical engineering

What we're looking for

Bachelor's degree/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related field

Minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar role, preferably in the construction or engineering industry

Proficient in the use of CAD software, such as AutoCAD, for designing and drafting mechanical systems

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make informed decisions

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
