Private Advertiser in Malaysia seeks a Project Coordinator to lead planning and execution of projects for international clients. You will liaise with customers, engineers, and production to meet timelines and budgets, and provide technical support on product specifications.

The role requires strong communication, the ability to travel locally and overseas, and experience in a Japanese business environment is a bonus. English proficiency is essential.

Formación

• Minimum 2 years’ working experience in engineering, projects or coordination.
• Experience coordinating with overseas clients and internal teams.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.
• Willingness to travel locally and overseas when required.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and maintain relationships with overseas clients and stakeholders; identify needs and provide solutions.
• Prepare and deliver technical proposals, quotations and presentations; assist in negotiations.
• Lead planning and implementation of new projects, ensuring alignment with specifications, timelines and budgets.
• Provide technical support to overseas customers on product specifications and inquiries; review drawings with internal teams.
• Coordinate with Engineering, Production and Quality to resolve issues and meet customer requirements.
• Prepare related project documentation and participate in audits as needed.

Descripción del empleo

a) Develop and maintain strong relationships with overseas clients & stakeholders. Identify customer needs and provide solutions.

b) Prepare and deliver technical proposals, quotations and presentations.

c) Assist in contract negotiations and ensure customer satisfaction throughout the sales process.

2. Project Coordination

a) Lead the planning and implementation of new project, by coordinating project activities from initiation to completion, ensuring alignment with client specifications, timelines and budgets.

b) Communicate project progress, risks and solutions clearly to customers/suppliers and internal departments.

c) Attend and lead project meetings with clients, ensuring clear documentation, update and follow-up.

3. Technical Support

a) Provide technical support to overseas customers on product specifications, and technical inquiries.

b) Review customer drawings and technical requirements, ensuring accurate communication with internal Engineering and Production teams.

c) Coordinate with Engineering, Production, and Quality teams to resolve technical issues and meet customer requirements.

d) Support tooling, jig design, and fabrication activities based on customer requirements.

e) Support Moulding if needed.

4. Documentation & Reporting

a) Prepare related project documentation, as directed by superior.

b) Ensure compliance with internal and customer documentation standards.

c) To participate in ISO 9001, ISO 14001 & IATF 16949 internal & external audit if needed.

Qualifications & Requirements:

1. Degree holder in Engineering or related field.

2. Well speak english & proficiency in Japanese is a bonus.

3. Minimum 2 years’ working experience.

4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

5. Good project organization skill especially communicating with customers and other global customers.

6. Ability to travel locally and overseas if required.

7. Experience working in a Japanese company is a bonus. Familiarity with Japanese business etiquette and practices.

8. Self-driven, detail-oriented and capable of working under minimal supervision.
