Job summary

Talent Recruit represents a leading plastic injection moulding company for medical components and devices. They seek a Project Engineer to oversee engineering projects, coordinate stakeholders, and ensure deadlines are met with technical planning expertise.

The role requires 2–3 years in project engineering in plastics/moulding or medical devices, and English+Mandarin for China coordination. ISO knowledge is advantageous, with comprehensive add-ons such as insurance and performance rewards.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering is required.
• 2–3 years in project engineering within plastics injection moulding or medical devices.
• Fluent in English and Mandarin for liaising with China counterparts.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001 / ISO 14001 / ISO 13485 is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate new project development from concept to first mass production.
• Plan, schedule and coordinate mold trials and project timelines.
• Serve as technical contact with customers on engineering matters.
• Prepare New Part Information and BOM after approval.
• Monitor engineering changes and production changes requested by customers.
• Handle inquiries or complaints related to new projects or tool modifications.
• Act as Project Leader for assigned projects and ensure customer approvals.
• Ensure ISO documentation is maintained and orderly.
• Assist in project improvement and cost-saving initiatives.
• Ensure 5S and orderly workplace within the project team.

Job Summary

The Project Engineer will be responsible for overseeing engineering projects, coordinating with various stakeholders, ensuring project deadlines are met, and providing technical expertise in project planning and execution.

Responsibilities

• To lead and coordinate overall new project development including new to modification new and existing tools from beginning until 1st mass production.
• Responsible for overall project planning, scheduling and coordinating the mold trial.
• To act as a contact window person with customer in technical and engineering matters.
• To prepare the New Part Information and BOM after part approved.
• Responsible follow up the engineering change given by customer and monitor running change of production.
• To handle customer enquiries or complaint of new project or tool modification.
• As the Project Leader of the assigned new project.
• Ensure all new products have customer's approval before production.
• Ensure ISO documentation are follow and in order.
• Assist in project improvement plan and cost saving plan .
• Accountable for the successful process and hand over completion of projects.
• To ensure the company 5s is in order.
• Perform other duties assigned by superior

Requirements

• Minimum a Degree in Engineering
• Min 2-3 years of Project Engineering working experience in the plastic injection moulding / medical devices industry.
• Ability to converse in both English and Mandarin due to business needs to liaise with China counterparts.
• Knowledge or internal audit training for ISO 9001, ISO 14001 & ISO 13485 is an advantage.
