Job summary

Synerwell Industrial Solutions Sdn Bhd is seeking an experienced Program Engineer in Puchong to lead programming activities for ongoing and new projects. The role involves designing, developing, sizing PLC systems, and preparing FAT/SAT documents while communicating complex technical details to non-technical teams and clients.

You will perform programming, troubleshooting, and configuration of control systems, conduct system studies, and support clients at local or outstation factories.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical/Electronic) or equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year experience in the related field; fresh graduates are encouraged.
• Knowledge of hardware and software solutions on PLC.

Responsibilities

• Perform programming, troubleshooting and configuration of control system.
• Perform system study, system migration and program improvement.
• Liaise with customer for technical clarification on design, develop, implement and test solutions.
• Ensure client systems are fully operational during FAT and SAT.
• Perform system sizing and handle technical enquiries.
• Provide training to end-users after project completion.

Job description

Synerwell Industrial Solutions Sdn Bhd – Puchong New Village

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Program Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be mainly involved with programming activities with our on-going and new projects. A Program Engineer is responsible for resolving programming issues, faced by clients or internal teams. You may also be involved in designing, developing, and sizing for PLC systems, or products depending on industry. In addition, Program Engineer requires to prepare FAT, SAT and guides related document. It is part of the engineer duty to communicate complex technical information to non-technical team members or clients.

What you'll be doing

Perform programming, troubleshooting and configuration of control system.

Perform system study, system migration and program improvement.

Liaise with customer at local or outstation factory for technical clarification on design, develop, implement, and test technical solutions based on business requirements.

Ensure that the clients' systems are fully operational, and any loss of service is restored in a timely and efficient manner during the FAT and SAT.

Perform system architecture sizing and handle technical enquiry.

Provide training to end-users after project completion.

What we're looking for

Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's Degree/ Post-Graduate Diploma/ Professional Degree in Engineering (Electrical/Electronic) or equivalent.

Minimum 1 year and above of working experience in the related field is required for this position. Fresh graduate is also encouraged to apply.

Have knowledge of hardware and software solutions on PLC.

Ability to handle multiple complex schedules at the same time.

Ability to develop and maintain internal error logs and provide support.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment.

Good written and verbal communication and presentation skills.

Must be computer literate (MS Project, CAD tools, MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.

Any knowledge or experience in the following areas will be beneficial - PLC programming, factory automation control system and VFD.
