Job summary

EPOMS Sdn. Bhd. is seeking a Production Technician in Malaysia to perform routine and non-routine activities following operating procedures.

You will monitor safety equipment per HSE rules, troubleshoot systems, and coordinate stock for production while supporting maintenance and project activities. Emergency response duties are also part of the role.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in oil & gas facilities.
• Recognized educational certificate or industry certificate or equivalent.
• Experience in process is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine, non-routine, and predictable activities per operating procedures.
• Check safety equipment for operability and availability per HSE rules.
• Troubleshoot equipment and process problems to restore operations.
• Plan and manage stock inventory of materials and consumables for production.
• Assist Lead Production Technician as liaison and coordinate production, maintenance, and projects.
• Assist other trades to meet maintenance/operation requirements.
• Perform in an emergency role per Emergency Response Plan.

Job description

Production Technician

• Perform the routine, non-routine, predictable and non-predictable activities as per operating procedures.
• Perform the routine checking of all safety equipments to ensure operability and availability of the equipment in compliance with HSE rules, regulation and procedures.
• Troubleshoot equipment and process problems and restore normal operating conditions to ensure continuous operations.
• Plan and manage stock inventory of materials and consumables for production requirement.
• Assist Lead Production Technician as an operation liaison, co-ordinate the production, maintenance and project activities to ensure smooth implementation.
• Assist other trades and disciplines as required within the limits and capabilities and experience to meet maintenance/operation requirements.
• Perform in an emergency role as defined by the Company Emergency Response Plan / Procedure Manual.

Requirements:

• A recognized educational certificate or industryobtained certificate or equivalent.
