Job summary

Private Advertiser is looking for a Production Technician to join our manufacturing team in Malaysia. You will perform assembly activities, operate and support machines, set up equipment, and adjust parameters to ensure stable production.

You will help with machine changes, basic troubleshooting, 5S workplace practices, and collaboration with QA/QC during trials and new product setups to meet quality standards.

Job description

1. Perform product assembly activities according to established SOP, Work Instruction and quality requirements

2. Operate and support assembly machines, jigs, fixtures, robots and pick-and-place equipment

3. Perform machine and equipment setup before production starts

4. Set, adjust and fine-tune machine parameters to ensure stable production

5. Conduct basic troubleshooting for machine, jig, robot and assembly-related issues

6. Identify abnormalities, machine errors and equipment malfunctions and report them to the superior

7. Perform basic repair, adjustment and replacement of machine components when required

8. Conduct routine inspection and basic preventive maintenance of machines, jigs and fixtures

9. Ensure jigs, fixtures and equipment are in good working condition and properly maintained

10. Support machine changeover, product changeover and production line setup

11. Assist QCQA and Production teams during machine trials, process improvement and new product setup

12. Monitor machine and process performance and report recurring issues

13. Support troubleshooting of robot and pick-and-place system operation

14. Ensure proper handling and usage of tools, equipment and spare parts

16. Maintain cleanliness and 5S standards at the workstation and production area

17. Follow all safety procedures and ensure safe operation of machines and equipment

18. Ensure assembled products meet specified quality and workmanship requirements

19. Record machine issues, maintenance activities and relevant production information accurately

20. Work closely with Production and QA/QC teams to resolve production and equipment issues

21. Perform other technical and production-related duties as assigned by the superior
