Job summary

Luxoft partners with a leading bank in Asia to deliver digital banking solutions from a Kuala Lumpur technology centre. The role focuses on L3 production support, incident resolution, and delivering robust Java-based applications.

You will work with Java, Spring, and Oracle databases in a high-availability environment, collaborating across teams on deployments and improvements.

Qualifications

• 6-9 years of experience in application development and L3 production support.
• Strong hands-on experience with Java, Spring Framework, and Spring Boot.
• Experience working with XML and SQL.
• Experience supporting enterprise Digital Banking or Banking applications.
• Hands-on experience with Oracle databases.
• Experience working in HP-UX, Linux, or Solaris environments.
• Strong troubleshooting, debugging, and root cause analysis skills.
• Experience supporting production releases, deployments, and change management activities.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide L3 production support for Digital Banking apps, ensuring high availability.
• Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve complex production incidents within SLAs.
• Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and implement permanent fixes for recurring issues.
• Support application deployments, production releases, and change activities.
• Develop and support enhancements using Java, Spring Framework, and Spring Boot.
• Analyze application logs, SQL queries, and system behavior to identify issues.
• Collaborate with development, infrastructure, database, and business teams during incident resolution and project delivery.
• Monitor application health and proactively identify potential production issues.
• Prepare technical documentation, incident reports, and operational procedures.
• Participate in release planning, production support activities, and continuous service improvement initiatives.

They work closely together to harness the power of technology to support our physical and digital banking services and operations. This includes developing, centralising, and standardising technology systems as well as banking operations in Malaysia and overseas branches.The client has more than 80 years of history in the banking industry and is expanding its footprint in Malaysia.You will be working in a newly set-up technology centre located in Kuala Lumpur as part of Technology and Operations to deliver innovative financial technology solutions that enable business growth and technology transformation.
