Job summary

WhiteCrow Research in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, is seeking a seasoned L3 Production Support professional specializing in C#, .Net and React JS to join our core banking environment.

You will act as the primary contact for incidents and knowledge management, coordinate with vendors and stakeholders, and drive testing, deployment, and governance improvements to ensure stable, high-quality banking services.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology or related field.
• At least 6 years’ experience in Banking/Investment Banking/Information Technology.
• Strong knowledge of Ms SQL, .Net and React JS.
• Experience with Agile and DevOps practices.
• Senior level with ability to guide junior developers (team lead experience a plus).

Responsibilities

• Act as focal point for incident, problem and knowledge management processes.
• Provide comprehensive support to internal customers; resolving issues.
• Manage 3rd party vendors and integration partners for timely quality deliverables.
• Design metrics for reporting on key performance and quality indicators.
• Testing, maintaining and recommending software improvements.
• Collaborate with production support to perform root cause analysis and testing.
• Coordinate with business stakeholders to prioritize remediation work.
• Contribute to improvement initiatives across methods, tools, architecture and governance.

As a L3 Production Support (C#, .Net), Core Banking, you will be responsible for:

• Acting as the focal point of contact for technical resolutions while managing the incident, problem and knowledge management processes for the applications in scope.
• Providing comprehensive support to internal customers; achieving resolution to outstanding problems or issues.
• Managing 3rd party product vendors and integration partners to ensure application code fix deliveries are timely and good quality.
• Designing appropriate metrics for reporting on key performance and quality indicators.
• Testing, maintaining and recommending software improvements to ensure strong functionality and optimization.
• Working with production support team members to conduct root cause analysis of issues, review new and existing code and/or perform unit testing.
• Working with business stakeholders to manage and prioritize the overall book of work in terms of problem remediation.
• Contributing to improvement initiatives relating to methods, tools, people, architecture, project management and governance.

What you already have...

• Bachelor’s Degree in related Information Technology disciplines; Additional professional/technical qualifications will be advantageous.
• At least 6 years’ experience in relevant Banking/Investment Banking / Information
• Technology with functional and system knowledge on Investment and Wealth
• Proficient in Ms SQL platform, Dot Net and React JS programming.
