Job summary

Dexian Asia Pacific is recruiting a Production Support Analyst to safeguard enterprise applications, perform L1 incident management, and ensure rapid resolution of production issues in a financial-services context.

The role requires hands-on experience with IBM AS/400, COBOL, SQL Server, and modern dev-ops tools, plus strong analytical and stakeholder-management skills to maintain system stability and drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related discipline.
• Minimum 3 years IT solution delivery or application support experience (insurance/financial services preferred).
• Mandatory: Experience with IBM AS/400 (IBM i), COBOL, CL programs, and Query/400.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server, SQL queries, and database troubleshooting.
• Basic understanding of AWS EC2, S3, RDS, and IAM.
• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, Git, and Terraform.
• Knowledge of Java, Spring Boot/MVC, web services, REST APIs, Node.js, and SQL/NoSQL databases.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.
• Understanding of SDLC, testing, and QA.
• Experience in insurance application support, data warehousing, reporting tools, or enterprise environments.

Responsibilities

• Provide L1 application production support including daily health checks and maintenance.
• Monitor alerts, resources, backups; perform start/stop procedures as required.
• Troubleshoot incidents per SOPs and escalate to L2 as needed.
• Handle service requests, data extraction, and user inquiries.
• Manage user accounts, access permissions, password resets, and urgent revocation.
• Perform log analysis, investigate recurring issues, and support root-cause analysis.
• Coordinate with regional users, internal teams, vendors and stakeholders.
• Support testing, change requests, and ongoing system improvements.
