Job summary

QL AGROVENTURES SDN BHD is looking for an Assistant Supervisor to help manage daily premix operations in our Sabah feedmill. You will supervise production staff, ensure accurate premix weighing and batching, monitor inventory, and maintain quality and safety standards.

You will coordinate with QA and maintenance, prepare production reports, and support continuous improvement initiatives while upholding 5S housekeeping and efficient scheduling.

Qualifications

• Diploma or certificate in Animal Science, Feed Technology, Manufacturing, or related field.
• Minimum 1-2 years of experience in feedmill operations or related manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of premix formulation will be an added advantage.
• Good supervisory and leadership skills.
• Basic computer skills (Microsoft Excel and production systems).

Responsibilities

• Assist the Supervisor in managing daily operations of the premix section in the feedmill.
• Ensure accurate weighing, batching, and mixing of premix according to approved formulations.
• Monitor raw material usage and maintain proper inventory control to minimize wastage.
• Ensure compliance with SOPs and feed safety standards.
• Supervise production operators and ensure work schedules are followed.
• Conduct quality checks to ensure premix meets required specifications.
• Prepare daily production reports and maintain proper documentation.
• Assist in troubleshooting operational issues and support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Maintain housekeeping standards and ensure workplace safety compliance (5S practices).
• Coordinate with QA, Maintenance, and others departments to ensure smooth operations.
