Job summary

Micron Technology, Inc. in Malaysia seeks a Production Supervisor 1 to lead a production team of skilled operators in PCBA manufacturing, ensuring output, quality and cycle-time targets are met.

You will manage WIP across frontend, backend and SSD operations, plan daily shift objectives, coach operators, and collaborate with management on daily production issues, with a 12-hour shift schedule. This role emphasizes safety, teamwork and continuous improvement through the Best Known Methods.

• Bachelor's degree with 3+ years in PCBA Manufacturing
• Able to work with little or no direct supervision

Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise a production team consisting of skilled operators to meet the department's output, quality and cycle time targets
• Manages the WIP across Frontend, Backend and SSD operations to ensure smooth material flow
• Plan daily shift objectives and goals as part of productivity and continuous improvement
• Communicate handing/taking over duties/issues between shifts
• Communicating and liaise with Management, Planning and Engineering on daily production issues
• Nurture operators' career development through coaching and on-the-job training
• Create and maintain a harmonious and safe working environment that instills teamwork, commitment and ownership in the team
• Work to create a culture of learning and sharing of Best Known Methods to simplify procedures and process flows
• Leveraging AI tools to: Retrieve technical information and Support troubleshooting

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree with 3 or more years of experience in PCBA Manufacturing Industry
• Able to work with little or no direct supervision
• Able to handle multiple priorities/tasks efficiently
• Show leadership qualities
• Good team player!
• Fresh Graduate is encourage to apply.
