Job summary

AmAire Auto Sdn Bhd in Penang seeks an experienced Production Supervisor to oversee daily manufacturing activities, ensuring targets are met and SOPs are followed.

You will plan manpower, monitor progress and quality, identify issues, and prepare daily/weekly production reports. Fluent English/Mandarin/Bahasa Malaysia a plus; strong leadership and problem-solving required. AmAire is ISO 9001:2015 certified and a long-established automotive component manufacturer.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in production or manufacturing operations.
• Ability to communicate in English, Mandarin and Bahasa Malaysia (spoken and written).
• Experience in supervising production workers preferred.
• Good leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong problem-solving with the ability to work independently.
• Responsible, proactive and able to take initiative.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily production activities to ensure production targets are achieved.
• Plan and allocate manpower according to production requirements.
• Monitor production progress, productivity, product quality, and work efficiency.
• Ensure production processes are carried out according to company SOP and work instructions.
• Monitor machines, materials, and production output to minimize downtime and wastage.
• Identify production problems and take appropriate corrective action.
• Maintain proper production records and prepare daily/weekly production reports.
