Job summary

Armstrong Auto Parts Sdn Bhd, established in 1978 to supply components for locally assembled Honda motorcycles, seeks a Production Supervisor in Malaysia. You will lead the Leader and Operations teams to ensure daily line production meets planned output with quality, manage manpower readiness, and implement improvements per QCDMS to align with yearly targets and company vision.

Qualifications

Must be capable of leading production teams to meet planned output and quality targets.
Experience implementing 5S, SOPs and quality standards on the line.
Ability to monitor daily output, identify issues, and suggest countermeasures within a team setting.

Responsibilities

To manage and lead Leader and Operation to ensure line production can be delivered as a plan and quality of product in good condition and plan for improvement.
To ensure daily Manpower readiness before production starting to run.
To manage and do improvement at Line plan based on QCDMS to meet company vision by yearly and team.
To report on production, quality and if parts supply problem and report how to countermeasure the problem and what is the best action to take.
To review daily Monitoring Check Sheet and Line Setup from Line Leader.
To check and confirm daily Production Output at Daily Monitoring Board.
To ensure that such recommended solutions or countermeasure are implemented at continuously monitoring.
To ensure the daily/monthly production plan based from Work Order and Planner schedule.
To ensure production line efficiency are effective through company target and vision.
To take immediate action on feedback of quality problem from internal or external department.
To prepare why-why analysis report and report to Assistant Production Manager with plan for improvement and effectively any countermeasure taken.
To review and confirm all model cycle time process by time to time.
To ensure that all Leader / Operator are strictly follow all: a. SOP b. Safety and Health Regulation Procedures c. Company Rules and Regulations d. Any Quality Standard and additional improvement taken
To recommend production Leader / Operator leave application.
To ensure Safety, 5S and housekeeping of Production Line work area in order and also plan for improvement.
To give written, verbal warning and counsel operator when necessary.
To undertake any other tasks, assignments or project as assigned by superior from time to time, as assigned by the Production Manager.
