Job summary

LINERGY POWER LIMITED in Malaysia seeks an experienced Production Supervisor to support daily manufacturing operations, drive efficiency, and strengthen shopfloor management.

You will coordinate resources, lead continuous improvement initiatives, organize daily briefings and training, and foster teamwork to achieve quality, delivery and cost targets in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Degree or above in any field.
• Minimum 3 years of production management experience in large-scale manufacturing.
• Experience in lithium battery industry, high-volume manufacturing, or Lean/continuous improvement is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate manpower, materials, equipment and resources according to the production plan to meet targets.
• Manage daily shopfloor operations and improve production efficiency while ensuring safety.
• Optimize and implement internal processes and management systems.
• Lead analysis of production issues, identify root causes, and develop containment and improvement plans.
• Organize daily training, communication and team briefings to strengthen skills.
• Support team development, boost engagement and collaboration.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives related to productivity, quality, cost, safety, and efficiency.

Job description

We are looking for an experienced Production Supervisor to support daily manufacturing operations, drive production efficiency, strengthen shopfloor management, and continuously improve team capability and operational performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate manpower, materials, equipment, and other resources according to the production plan to ensure production targets are achieved in terms of quality, quantity, and delivery.
• Manage daily shopfloor operations, continuously improve production efficiency, and ensure a safe and well-organized working environment.
• Optimize, establish, and implement internal departmental processes, procedures, and management systems.
• Lead the analysis and resolution of production-related issues, identify root causes, and develop both short-term containment actions and long-term improvement plans.
• Organize daily training, communication, and team briefings to continuously strengthen employees' skills and operational capabilities.
• Support team development, improve employee engagement, and strengthen overall team cohesion and collaboration.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives related to productivity, quality, cost, safety, and operational efficiency.

Requirements

• Diploma/Degree or above; no specific major required.
• Minimum 3 years of production management experience in a large-scale manufacturing environment.
• Experience in the lithium battery industry, high-volume manufacturing, or Lean/continuous improvement will be an added advantage.
• Strong communication, coordination, planning, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Good organizational, people management, and leadership capabilities.
• Self-driven, responsible, results-oriented, and able to perform effectively in a fast-paced and high-pressure manufacturing environment.
• Strong team spirit with a hands-on approach to shopfloor management.

Preferred Background

Candidates with experience in lithium battery, electronics, automotive, semiconductor, or other large-scale manufacturing industries are highly preferred.
