Job summary

Vertiv is seeking a proactive production supervisor in Johor, Malaysia to oversee and optimize shop floor activities. The role focuses on organizing and guiding subordinates, monitoring production progress, and maintaining quality records under ISO standards.

The successful candidate will lead continuous improvement efforts, manage training, and ensure lean practices (5S) are applied. Basic English communication is required, and familiarity with production software is expected.

Qualifications

• 3 years of experience in manufacturing and organizing people.
• Secondary education with a technical field certificate (mechanical/electrical).
• English language – basic knowledge.
• Proficient with MS Office and production software.

Responsibilities

• Assigning and organizing work to subordinates.
• Control of work efficiency and addressing productivity losses.
• Monitor progress of orders in production.
• Inspect materials for production and reallocate workers as needed.
• Maintain ISO documentation and implement corrective actions.
• Train new employees effectively.
• Work with PC and production software.
• Identify missing tools or equipment and inform supervisor.
