Job summary

Infineon Technologies (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd is seeking a Staff Specialist Production Management to act as the main interface between Business Line and Operations, owning products from development through production. You will drive ramp‑up, manufacturing readiness, and cross‑functional project execution across a global supply chain.

You will lead cost and quality improvements, manage capacity, and steer digitization and operational excellence initiatives to sustain long‑term manufacturing strategy

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in the semiconductor industry.
• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Industrial Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Strong understanding of semiconductor manufacturing processes, supply chain operations, and product lifecycle management.
• Proven experience leading complex projects and cross-functional initiatives.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to challenge existing processes and drive improvements.
• Experience in manufacturing optimization, cost reduction, digitization, or operational excellence projects is an advantage.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Ability to manage and influence global and multicultural stakeholders effectively.
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken.

The role is responsible for driving product ramp‑up, ensuring manufacturing readiness, capacity, and operational excellence while leading cross‑functional projects and improvement initiatives. By collaborating with global stakeholders across the supply chain, manufacturing, and engineering functions, the position focuses on optimizing cost, quality, delivery performance, and long‑term manufacturing strategy for a diverse semiconductor product portfolio.

Your role

Act as the primary interface between Business Line and Operations to ensure alignment of product and manufacturing objectives.

Take ownership of assigned products after development and manage them throughout their production lifecycle.

Lead and coordinate cross-functional, multi-disciplinary teams to achieve successful product ramp‑up and volume manufacturing targets.

Implement manufacturing strategies, including product transfers and industrialization activities, while ensuring manufacturing capability and capacity requirements are met.

Analyze product cost structures and identify opportunities for cost reduction across yield, test, material, manufacturing, and process improvement areas.

Drive and lead strategic, digitization, and operational excellence projects to improve manufacturing performance and efficiency.

Lead task forces, focus teams, and 8D problem‑solving activities to resolve product and manufacturing issues.

Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure product availability, productivity, quality, and delivery performance.

Monitor manufacturing performance indicators and implement actions to support continuous improvement initiatives.
