Job summary

King Wai Industries Sdn Bhd, located in Tuanku Ja’afar Industrial Park, Seremban, Negeri Sembilan, Malaysia, is seeking a Production Planning Executive to coordinate master production schedules and daily production plans to keep output on target and on time.

You will work closely with Purchasing, Sales, Logistics and Quality Control to align demand, optimize material flow, monitor efficiency and defects, and prepare clear management reports.

Responsibilities

• Production Scheduling: Build and continuously refine master production schedules (EXT & SP), work sheets, and daily production plans to keep output on target and on time.
• Inventory & Material Planning: Keep raw materials and packaging supply matched to demand, avoiding both stockouts and excess inventory.
• Capacity Planning: Evaluate equipment and labour capacity against demand, and recommend shift adjustments to close gaps.
• Operational Improvement: Spot bottlenecks, streamline workflow, and identify cost-saving opportunities on the floor.
• Cross-Functional Coordination: Work daily with Purchasing, Sales, Logistics, and Quality Control to keep operations synchronized.
• Reporting: Track output, efficiency, defects, and delays, and turn that data into clear reports for management.
• Other duties reasonably assigned by your superior from time to time.
