Job summary

Polyparts Sdn Bhd is seeking a Production Planning Executive to ensure seamless production flow and on-time delivery for global clients. You will bridge sales demand, supply chain availability, and capacity, driving schedule ownership and continuous improvement.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in a related field, experience in production planning, proficiency with ERP systems and Excel, and strong analytical and cross-functional communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field (Business Admin, SCM, Engineering).
• Experience in Production Planning or Control in manufacturing (injection molding a plus).
• Proficiency with ERP systems and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making under pressure.
• Excellent communication across Sales, Production, and Procurement.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain comprehensive production schedules to meet global delivery dates.
• Analyze machine and labor capacity to optimize output and prevent bottlenecks.
• Coordinate with Purchasing/Supply Chain to ensure timely material availability (JIT/Min-Max).
• Monitor daily production output vs. plan and take corrective action if targets slip.
• Utilize data analysis to forecast risks and identify efficiency improvements.

Key Responsibilities

• Master Scheduling: Develop and maintain comprehensive production schedules to meet global customer delivery dates.
• Capacity Planning: Analyze machine and labor capacity to optimize output and prevent bottlenecks.
• Material Coordination: Collaborate with Purchasing/Supply Chain to ensure raw materials are available precisely when needed (JIT/Min-Max monitoring).
• Progress Tracking: Monitor daily production output against the plan and take immediate corrective action if targets are slipping.
• Data Analysis: Utilize data to forecast risks and identify opportunities for efficiency improvements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience in Production Planning or Control within a manufacturing environment (experience with injection molding is a plus).
• Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to make data-driven decisions under pressure.
• Excellent communication skills to coordinate between Sales, Production, and Procurement.
