Job summary

Ultra Clean Technology is seeking a Senior Planner in Malaysia to manage material planning for complex projects involving 500–1000 items. The role ensures timely material availability, coordinates cross-functional teams, and maintains data accuracy in planning systems to support customer commitments.

The candidate should have 5+ years of experience for Senior Planner or 2+ years for Planner, preferably in a manufacturing environment, with strong organizational and documentation skills.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical/Electronics /Mechatronics/Industrial Systems Engineering.
• At least 2 years of working experience for Planner; at least 5 years for Senior Planner; experience in manufacturing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan & schedule materials availability to drive production to meet customers delivery commits.
• Coordinate with Buyer, Operations, Programme and Warehouse for on-time delivery.
• Maintain data integrity in planning systems and ensure correct purchase and fabrication parts entry.
• Identify potential bottlenecks and develop contingencies.
• Attend production meetings and generate reports for management.

UCT is looking for a talented Senior Plannerto join us in Malaysia!

The Planner / Senior Planner drives production efficiency by managing material planning for complex projects involving 500-1000 items. This role ensures timely material availability, coordinates cross-functional teams, and maintains data accuracy in planning systems. Responsibilities include identifying bottlenecks, executing purchase plans, supporting quality resolution, and generating reports to support decision-making and customer commitments.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Parts maintenance checking before project kick in
• Plan & schedule materials availability to drive production to meet customers delivery commits
• Co-ordinate with other departments includingBuyer, Operations, Programme and Warehousefor on-time delivery
• Systems data maintenance and integrity, key in purchase parts and fabrication parts correctly.
• Identify the possible production bottlenecks and have contingencies plans
• Work with existing vendor on the completion of the new revision material or temporary change order.
• To renew, monitor and translate forecast into material plan and pull in & out with suppliers accordingly.
• Execute materials planning and purchase for production fulfillment
• Review report daily with purchasing dept.
• To coordinate withquality engineers of any non-conforming materials.
• Ensure on-time delivery of materials from suppliers
• Attend production meetings and any others for communication and update purpose
• Generate management report and other activities as assigned by Superior

Educational/Certification Requirement:

• Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical/Electronics /Mechatronics/Industrial Systems Engineering

Experience Requirement:

• At least 2 years of working experience for Planner
• At least 5 years of working experience for Senior Planner
• Preferably in manufacturing environment
• No fear of paper works and system update
