Job summary

Ultra Clean Technology in Malaysia seeks a Planner III to manage materials planning and procurement for multiple projects. You will coordinate with Buyer, Operations, Programme and Warehouse to ensure on-time delivery and accurate data entry.

A degree in Engineering/Science or related field is required along with several years of manufacturing experience. This role emphasizes process discipline, forecasting, and continuous improvement in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering / Science/ Mathematics/ Materials /Industrial Engineering required.
• Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical/Electronics /Mechatronics/Industrial Systems Engineering required.
• Experience: At least 5 years with Bachelor’s, 8 years with Diploma; manufacturing environment preferred; capable of paperwork and system updates.

Responsibilities

• Plan & schedule materials availability to drive production to meet delivery commitments.
• Coordinate with Buyer, Operations, Programme and Warehouse for on-time delivery.
• Identify production bottlenecks and develop contingency plans.
• Renew, monitor and translate forecast into material plans and align with suppliers.
• Execute materials planning and purchasing for production fulfillment.
• Review reports daily with Purchasing.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Parts maintenance checking before project kick in
• Manage 500-1000 items per projects
• Plan & schedule materials availability to drive production to meet customers delivery commits
• Co-ordinate with other departments including Buyer, Operations, Programme and Warehouse for on-time delivery
• Systems data maintenance and integrity, key in purchase parts and fabrication parts correctly.
• Identify the possible production bottlenecks and have contingencies plans
• Work with existing vendor on the completion of the new revision material or temporary change order.
• To renew, monitor and translate forecast into material plan and pull in & out with suppliers accordingly.
• Execute materials planning and purchase for production fulfillment
• Review report daily with purchasing dept.
• To coordinate with quality engineers of any non-conforming materials.
• Ensure on-time delivery of materials from suppliers
• Attend production meetings and any others for communication and update purpose
• Generate management report and other activities as assigned by Superior

Educational/Certification Requirement:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering / Science/ Mathematics/ Materials /Industrial Engineering
• Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical/Electronics /Mechatronics/Industrial Systems Engineering

Experience Requirement:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering / Science/ Mathematics/ Materials /Industrial Engineering At least 5 years working experience
• Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical/Electronics /Mechatronics/Industrial Systems Engineering with At Least 8 years working experience
• Preferably in manufacturing environment
• No fear of paper works and system update
