Ultra Clean Technology is seeking a talented Planner II in Malaysia to manage end-to-end materials planning, ensuring production readiness and on-time delivery. You will oversee high-volume part portfolios, maintain accurate system data, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve supply chain issues and meet commitments.

The role emphasizes proactive bottleneck identification, forecasting alignment with suppliers, and continuous improvement through reporting and quality engagement.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in engineering or related field.
• 2+ years experience with degree; 5+ years with diploma preferred.
• Manufacturing environment experience preferred.
• Strong data management and system updating ability.

Responsibilities

• Plan and schedule materials to support production and on-time delivery.
• Maintain accurate system data for high-volume part portfolios.
• Coordinate with Buyer, Operations, Programme and Warehouse for timely delivery.
• Identify bottlenecks and develop contingency plans with suppliers.
• Translate forecast into material plans and manage supplier engagements.

UCT is looking for a talented Planner II to join us inMalaysia!

The Material Planner II manages end‑to‑end materials planning to ensure production readiness and on‑time delivery. This role oversees high‑volume part portfolios, maintains accurate system data, and collaborates with cross‑functional teams to resolve supply chain issues. It proactively identifies bottlenecks, aligns suppliers to forecasted demand, and executes material plans that support production goals. The planner drives continuous improvement through reporting, vendor coordination, and quality engagement to meet customer and operational commitments.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Parts maintenance checking before project kick in
• Plan & schedule materials availability to drive production to meet customers delivery commits
• Co-ordinate with other departments includingBuyer, Operations, Programme and Warehousefor on‑time delivery
• Systems data maintenance and integrity, key in purchase parts and fabrication parts correctly.
• Identify the possible production bottlenecks and have contingencies plans
• Work with existing vendor on the completion of the new revision material or temporary change order.
• To renew, monitor and translate forecast into material plan and pull in & out with suppliers accordingly.
• Execute materials planning and purchase for production fulfillment
• Review report daily with purchasing dept.
• To coordinate withquality engineers of any non-conforming materials.
• Ensure on‑time delivery of materials from suppliers
• Attend production meetings and any others for communication and update purpose
• Generate management report and other activities as assigned by Superior

Educational/Certification Requirement:

• Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical/Electronics /Mechatronics/Industrial Systems Engineering

Experience Requirement:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering / Science/ Mathematics/ Materials /Industrial Engineering At least 2 years working experience
• Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical/Electronics /Mechatronics/Industrial Systems Engineering with At least 5 years working experience
• Preferably in manufacturing environment
• No fear of paper works and system update
