Job summary

INFICON Malaysia Sdn. Bhd. is seeking Production Operator/Technician to support manufacturing with emphasis on high-quality output, safety, and efficiency. You will operate equipment, manage materials, and collaborate with supervisors and engineers on quality issues.

Fresh graduates with a Diploma in Electrical/Electronic or SPM with vocational engineering are welcome. Ownership of transport and a team-oriented mindset are preferred. 4 positions on a yearly contract.

Qualifications

• Fresh graduate with Diploma in Electrical / Electronic, SPM with Vocational in Engineering of Electrical & Electronic.
• Possess own transportation.
• Team-oriented mindset.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain production machinery to ensure smooth operation and minimal downtime.
• Assemble and/or install electrical/electronic components, plastics housings and cables.
• Solder surface mount and through-hole components.
• Conduct in-line inspections and log production activities for traceability.
• Comply with EHS policies and participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
• Maintain 6S standards and report major malfunctions to engineering.

Position

As a Production Operator, you will play a critical role in the manufacturing process, ensuring high-quality product output while maintaining safety and efficiency standards. Your responsibilities include equipment operation, material management, and adhering to environmental, health, and safety (EHS) policies. Collaboration with supervisors and engineers is essential to address quality issues and support continuous improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities

Produce products with consistent high quality, meeting production standards.

Assembles and/or installs various electrical or electronic components, plastics housings and cables.

Soldering surface mount and through-hole components.

Operate and maintain production machinery, ensuring smooth operation and minimal downtime.

Troubleshoot minor equipment issues and report major malfunctions to the manufacturing engineering team.

Perform in-line inspections to identify and address quality defects during production.

Maintain workshop 6S standards and perform equipment maintenance as needed.

Accurately document production activities and maintain logs for traceability.

Comply with and support the Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) policies and initiatives.

Actively contribute to continuous improvement projects to enhance productivity and product quality.

Requirements
