Job summary

MKS Atotech Malaysia is seeking a Production Operator to help maintain a safe and efficient manufacturing environment. You will report to the production supervisor and work closely with engineers to hit daily output targets.

Responsibilities include ensuring correct raw material types and weights, following instructions, assisting with equipment cleaning, reporting hazards, and supporting quality control samples. The role requires teamwork, basic English, and willingness to work shifts.

Qualifications

• Passed SPM or equivalent qualification.
• Keen to learn computer interface equipment and able to understand basic English.
• Good teamwork and communication skills.
• Able to follow procedures, instructions and guidance from management.
• Able to pick-up fast on understanding production procedures.
• Working experience in manufacturing or industrial setting.
• Available to work on shifts, weekends, standby on-call and overtime if necessary.

Responsibilities

• Check and ensure the right type and correctly weighted raw materials are used for manufacturing.
• Adhere to safety practices and report hazards or equipment defects.
• Inform forklift driver to move raw materials and packing materials.
• Assist in charging raw materials, cleaning equipment, and maintenance work.
• Evaluate and decide on actions to prevent non-conformances.
• Report breakdowns, accidents, injuries, and non-conforming products to supervisor.
• Collect, label and submit samples to Quality Control Lab as instructed.
• Maintain tools, machines, and company property in good condition.
• Support in training new recruits and upholding productivity and housekeeping standards.
• Participate in HSE activities and report hazards or near misses.
