Job summary

MKS Atotech Malaysia is seeking a Production Operator to maintain a safe working environment and uphold EHS standards. You will work under the production supervisor/engineer and support manufacturing targets with accurate material handling.

Responsibilities include handling raw materials, maintaining equipment, ensuring quality samples reach QC, and supporting continuous improvement. Willingness to work shifts and weekends is required.

Qualifications

• SPM or equivalent qualification.
• Able to understand basic English.
• Willing to work shifts, weekends, standby on-call and overtime.
• Experience in manufacturing or industrial setting preferred.
• Good teamwork and communication skills.
• Able to follow procedures and guidance from management.
• Keen to learn computer interface equipment.

Responsibilities

• Check and ensure the right type and correctly weighed raw materials are used for manufacturing.
• Ensure safety practices comply with work instructions and procedures on manufacturing machines.
• Inform forklift driver to move raw materials and packing materials as needed.
• Assist in charging raw materials, cleaning of equipment and any maintenance work.
• Evaluate actions to prevent non-conformances and report issues to supervision.
• Collect, label and submit samples to Quality Control Lab per work instructions.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and company property; promote good housekeeping.
• Train or assist new recruits and support higher responsibility tasks.
