Job summary

MKS Atotech Malaysia is hiring a Production Technician to maintain a safe, compliant work environment and support batch manufacturing. You will monitor glass-lined reactors, verify materials, and assist with charging, cleaning, and packing tasks while aligning with EHS standards.

The role requires willingness to work shifts, weekends, and overtime as needed, with a focus on achieving departmental output and quality. Experience in chemical manufacturing is an advantage.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related discipline.
• Willing to learn computer-based interface systems.
• Good teamwork and communication skills.
• Ability to work on shifts, weekends, on-call standby, and overtime as required.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for overall production activities including staging and handling of batch processes.
• Operate and monitor batches in glass-lined reactors with flexibility for overtime.
• Ensure correct raw materials are used and maintain 4 eyes principle.
• Support raw material charging, equipment cleaning, and packing processes.
• Monitor batch cycle time and optimize production efficiency.
