Job summary

Letromec Industries (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd in Bukit Mertajam, Penang, is seeking a Production Operator (Assembly & Packing) to join our manufacturing team. The role covers order inspection, packaging, labeling, inventory updates, and light assembly during peak times.

You will work at a fast pace, maintain a clean packing station, and handle material movement with manual or electric equipment. Prior packing or warehouse experience is preferred; strong attention to detail is essential.

Qualifications

• Prior experience as a Packing Operator, Warehouse Assistant, or Production Operator.
• Exceptional attention to detail to catch discrepancies in orders and packaging.
• Ability to work fast in a high-volume shipping environment and meet daily deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Order Inspection & Verification: check items, quantities and dimensions before packing.
• Secure Packaging: wrap, pack, and secure products for transit.
• Labeling & Documentation: generate shipping labels and packing slips.
• Inventory & Stock Management: assist in counting finished goods and update records.
• Product Assembly: assist with light assembly during peak times.
• Workspace & Warehouse Upkeep: maintain clean, organized packing station.
• Material Handling: move materials using pallet jacks or similar equipment.

We're looking for three candidates for Production Operator to join our team at Letromec Industries (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd, located at our Bukit Mertajam branch.

Job Position: Production Operator (Assembly & Packing)

Job Responsibilities:

• Order Inspection & Verification: Review job orders and pick lists to verify that the correct items, quantities, and dimensions (such as cut belts or aluminum profiles) are present before packing.
• Secure Packaging: Wrap, pack, and secure products using appropriate materials (e.g., boxing, crating, palletizing, or shrink-wrapping) to prevent damage during transit.
• Labeling & Documentation: Generate and apply accurate shipping labels, barcodes, and packing slips in accordance with customer requirements and shipping standards.
• Inventory & Stock Management: Assist in counting finished goods and updating inventory records as items are packed and prepared for dispatch
• Product Assembly: Step in to assist with the assembly of aluminum profiles, belt splicing, or other light manufacturing tasks during peak times.
• Workspace & Warehouse Upkeep: Maintain a clean, hazard-free, and highly organized packing station and warehouse layout to maximize efficiency.
• Material Handling: Safely load, unload, and move materials or packed orders around the warehouse using manual or automated equipment (like pallet jacks).

Job Qualifications & Skills:

• Prior experience as a Packing Operator, Warehouse Assistant, or Production Operator.
• Exceptional attention to detail to catch discrepancies in order numbers, quantities, or product quality.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment to meet daily shipping deadlines.
