Job summary

Eramas Ingredients Sdn Bhd in Malaysia is seeking a disciplined Packing Operator to join our production team. You will ensure our products are packed efficiently, accurately, and safely while upholding food safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities include operating and setting up packing machines, monitoring quality, maintaining logs, and assisting with housekeeping and material handling. Availability for rotational shifts, overtime, weekends, and public holidays is required.

Qualifications

• Experience in packaging or food production operations is advantageous.
• Basic knowledge of food safety is preferred.
• Willingness to work on rotational shifts and overtime.
• Ability to follow written and verbal SOPs.

Responsibilities

• Operate, monitor, and setup packing machines according to SOPs. Ensure finished products are accurately packed, sealed, labelled, and palletised.
• Conduct routine checks on seal integrity and coding accuracy. Verify packaging materials, batch codes, and expiry dates.
• Strictly comply with OSH regulations and Food Safety standards (GMP, HACCP, Halal).
• Maintain accurate production logs, material usage records, and downtime reports; report malfunctions or hazards to supervisors.
• Uphold 5S housekeeping standards; assist in manual material handling, carton prep, loading/unloading, and santan dump activities as needed.

About the Role

Eramas Ingredients Sdn Bhd is seeking a disciplined and reliable Packing Operator to join our production team. In this role, you will ensure our products are packaged efficiently, accurately, and safely, while maintaining the highest standards of food safety and quality control.

Key Responsibilities

Machine Operations & Packing: Operate, monitor, and set up packing machines according to SOPs. Ensure all finished products are accurately packed, sealed, labelled, and palletized.

Quality Control: Conduct routine checks on seal integrity and coding accuracy. Verify packaging materials, batch codes, and expiry dates, immediately segregating any non-conforming products.

Safety & Compliance: Strictly comply with Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) regulations and Food Safety standards, including GMP, HACCP, and Halal requirements.

Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate production logs, material usage records, and downtime reports. Promptly report any machine malfunctions or safety hazards to supervisors.

Housekeeping & Material Handling: Uphold workplace cleanliness according to 5S standards. Assist in manual material handling, carton preparation, loading/unloading, and santan (coconut milk) dump activities as needed.

Requirements

Education: Minimum Secondary School Certificate (SPM) or equivalent qualification.

Experience: Previous experience in packaging, manufacturing, or food production operations is a strong advantage. Basic knowledge of food safety is preferred.

Physical Fitness: Must be fit and capable of handling manual packing and santan dump activities.

Availability: Must be willing to work on rotational shifts, overtime, weekends, and public holidays when required.
