Job summary

Quantum Total Packages Sdn Bhd in Parit Buntar, Malaysia is hiring a Production Operator to assist on the production line, handle forklift duties, and prepare finished goods for QC and shipment.

The role covers cleaning equipment, machine maintenance, stocking, 5S, and recording outputs and downtime. You will follow job orders and master cards and collaborate with supervisors to ensure timely production.

Responsibilities

• Assist with various production line processes per job order and master card.
• Operate forklift when handling receiving sheet board.
• Pull in/standby WIP according to production schedule, master card & job order.
• Clean equipment and materials after usage.
• Machine maintenance.
• Arrange goods on pallet and prepare finished goods for QC inspection and shipment.
• Record daily output, rejects and machine downtime in Daily Production Output.
• Maintain 5S on the entire production floor.
• Carry out production materials handling and restore after usage (e.g., die cut mold, ink pail).
• Run labeling processing per job order & master card.
• Run stock check (FG/WIP) at month end.
• Perform manual jobs (stitching, gluing, rework FG, tying goods, peeling/tearing when required).
• Any other tasks assigned by manager or supervisor when required.

Job description

1 Responsible for assisting with various processes being completed along production line according to the job order and master card.

2 Operate forklift when conducting receiving sheet board.

3 Pull in / standby WIP according to Production Schedule, Master Card & Job Order.

4 Clean equipment and materials after usage.

5 Machine maintenance.

6 Arrange goods on pallet and prepare finishes goods for QC inspection and shipment.

7 Record daily output, reject and machine downtime in Daily Production Output.

8 Maintain 5S practice for entire production floor.

9 Carry-out production materials and restore back after usage according to the rack list. (E.g.: Die cut mold, ink pail)

10 Run labelling processing based on requirement with reference to job order & master card.

11 Run stock check (FG/WIP) every end of month.

12 To perform manual jobs (stitching, gluing, rework FG, tying goods, peeling / tearing when required.

13 Any other tasks and responsibilities assigned by manager or supervisor when required.
