Job summary

Wasco AgroTech Sdn Bhd (Formerly PMT Industries Sdn Bhd) in Shah Alam is seeking a Production Operator to handle and review Work Orders, materials, and drawings, and perform fabrication tasks in line with specifications.

The role requires basic reading of drawings, basic skills in cutting, welding, grinding, polishing, painting, and 1–2 years of manufacturing experience. Safety-conscious attitude and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• SPM or equivalent qualification.
• Basic skills in cutting, welding, grinding, polishing, and painting.
• 1–2 years of working experience in manufacturing or a similar environment.
• Able to read basic drawings and use measuring tools.
• Good teamwork and communication skills.
• Responsible, disciplined, and safety-conscious.
• Good attention to detail and able to follow instructions accurately.
• Willing to learn, adaptable, and positive working attitude.

Responsibilities

• Receive and review Work Orders, raw materials, drawings, and other relevant production documents before commencing production activities.
• Ensure measuring, cutting, welding, grinding, polishing, and painting tools/equipment are correctly calibrated, adjusted, and in good working condition before use.
• Perform production work according to drawing specifications, quality standards, and work instructions.
• Carry out general fabrication works including cutting, welding, grinding, polishing, and painting.
• Check completed parts to ensure they meet the required specifications and quality standards.
• Maintain proper housekeeping and ensure tools, equipment, and materials are properly handled and stored.
• Follow all safety procedures and requirements while performing production activities.
• Perform any other tasks or activities assigned by the Production Supervisor/Manager from time to time.

Job description

Perform production work according to drawing specifications, quality standards, and work instructions.

Carry out general fabrication works including cutting, welding, grinding, polishing, and painting.

Check completed parts to ensure they meet the required specifications and quality standards.

Maintain proper housekeeping and ensure tools, equipment, and materials are properly handled and stored.

Follow all safety procedures and requirements while performing production activities.

Perform any other tasks or activities assigned by the Production Supervisor/Manager from time to time.
