We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Production Operator to join Chumboon Metal Packaging (Malaysia) Sbd Bhd in Gelang Patah, Johor. This is a full-time position that plays a vital role in our manufacturing operations. As a Production Operator, you will be responsible for operating and monitoring machinery and equipment on our production line, ensuring that we maintain the highest standards of quality and efficiency in the manufacture of metal packaging products. This role is essential to our production targets and directly contributes to the success of our manufacturing operations.

Key responsibilities

• Operate and monitor production machinery and equipment in accordance with standard operating procedures and safety protocols
• Inspect products throughout the production process to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications
• Perform routine maintenance checks and report any equipment malfunctions or defects to supervisors immediately
• Record production data, including output quantities, downtime and any quality issues encountered
• Maintain a clean and organised work area, adhering to workplace safety and hygiene standards
• Follow all health and safety regulations and participate in safety briefings and training sessions
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to troubleshoot production issues and implement corrective actions
• Adjust machine settings and parameters as needed to optimise production efficiency and product quality
• Assist with changeovers between different production runs and product types

• Previous experience working as a Production Operator or in a similar manufacturing or machine operation role
• Proficiency in operating industrial machinery and production equipment
