Job summary

ASJ Components in Kulai, Johor is seeking a production operator to support daily manufacturing operations. You will follow SOP/WI, operate a machine, and report downtime to technicians. You will help maintain 5S and assist with shift-based tasks including nights and weekends.

The role requires SRP/PMR/SPM or equivalent, good vision, and the ability to stand for long hours in a fast-paced environment, with strong teamwork and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Follow SOP and WI to carry out production tasks.
• Operate a machine and report downtime to technician.
• Report abnormalities using standard reporting to superior.
• Maintain a clean and orderly production area per 5S standards.

Responsibilities

• Operate production line and assist maintenance to ensure machine performance.
• Provide feedback on abnormalities and issues using standard reporting.
• Maintain production and machine 5S practices.
• Perform other tasks assigned by supervisor as needed.

• CARRY OUT PRODUCTION PROCESS ACCORDING TO THE SOP AND WI.
• OPERATE A MACHINE AND HELP TO MAINTAIN A MACHINE PERFORMANCE BY REPORTING DOWNTIME TO TECHNICIAN.
• FEEDBACK ABNORMALITIES WHEN HAVE ISSUE BY USING STANDARD REPORTING TO SUPERIOR.
• MAINTAIN A GOOD PRODUCTION AND MACHINE 5S.
• OTHERS TASK ASSIGNED BY SUPERIOR BY TIME TO TIME.

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:

• MINIMUM SRP/PMR/SPM. (Equivalent related experience may be substituted for educational requirements).

OTHER REQUIREMENTS:

• ABLE TO STAND LONG HOURS FOR A DAY SHIFT.
• CLEAR VISION, ABLE TO CHECK ON SMALL COMPONENTS.
• ABILITY TO WORK IN A FAST -PACED, SHIFT-BASED ENVIRONMENT INCLUDING NIGHTS AND WEEKENDS AS REQUIRED.
• STRONG COMMUNICATION SKILLS AND THE ABILITY TO WORK IN A TEAM SETTING.
