Job summary

The Origin Foods in Malaysia is seeking a Production Operation Senior Executive or Assistant Manager to coordinate daily production activities and ensure GMP/HACCP/Halal compliance. You will work with the production team and other departments to maintain product quality and timely delivery.

The role demands attention to detail, strong communication, and a continuous improvement mindset, with hands-on participation in audits, documentation, and ERP traceability.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Food Science, Manufacturing or Industrial Engineering.
• 2–3 years in GMP-certified food, nutraceutical, or pharmaceutical manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of GMP, HACCP, and Halal principles and documentation.
• Excellent coordination, communication and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and ERP systems.
• Hands-on, team-oriented with attention to detail and continuous improvement mindset.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and coordinate daily production operations for smooth workflow, efficiency, and product quality.
• Plan schedules with the Production team and monitor output.
• Ensure manufacturing activities comply with GMP, HACCP, Halal and internal standards.
• Collaborate with QA/QC, R&D, Warehouse, Procurement, and Maintenance teams to support production requirements and on-time delivery.
• Monitor material usage, yield, and wastage, with documentation and traceability in the ERP.
• Participate in audits, documentation control, and process validation to maintain production compliance.
• Support process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, cost control, and workplace safety.
• Prepare and present production performance and operation reports for management review.
