Wilpack Food Services Sdn Bhd in Malaysia is seeking a production specialist to safeguard daily output and product quality. You will ensure material availability, monitor runs, and enforce adherence to production plans while guiding operators to meet targets.
The role also involves driving productivity, waste reduction, and equipment utilization, plus mentoring workers on process changes and new lines as needed.

Responsibilities:
Ensure appropriate materials sufficient to meet the production daily schedule
Monitoring production run according planning and meeting targeted output and quality specification
Ensure all processes and production plan are adhered strictly by operation personnel.
Ensure productivity, yield, quality and machine utilization meet department goals.
Report to immediate superior regarding abnormalities or exceptional incidents or events.
Assist in the new product, process and equipment introduction to production line.
Train & develop workers on process changes or new production line
Control and improve on the cost of production, wastage & labour
Perform the duty of his/her immediate superior during their absence or being designated
Any other duties that may be adjusted according to the needs of the department from time to time.
Requirements:
Candidate must possess at least a Degree/ Post Graduate/ Diploma in Food technology/Food Science or equivalent field
Knowledge in HACCP, HALAL etc standards and Practices
Required language : English & Bahasa Malaysia
Computer skills and knowledge in MS Office
Good communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills
Basic management knowledge and able to work under tight deadlines
