Job summary

TE Connectivity Corporation is seeking a Production Supervisor in Malaysia to oversee daily manufacturing operations, ensuring safety, quality and efficiency. The role requires strong leadership to manage production teams and drive continuous improvement.

Responsibilities include coordinating daily activities, monitoring schedules and resources, enforcing safety, coaching operators, and collaborating with engineering, quality and maintenance to resolve issues.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in manufacturing or engineering.
• 3–5 years supervisory experience in manufacturing.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Lean manufacturing knowledge and CI experience.
• Troubleshoot production issues and implement corrective actions.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily production activities to meet output and quality goals.
• Monitor schedules, resources, and manpower to ensure smooth operations.
• Enforce safety and compliance in the production area.
• Lead, coach and develop operators and line leaders.
• Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency.
• Collaborate with engineering, quality, maintenance to resolve issues.
• Prepare and review production reports and data documentation.
• Support lean manufacturing initiatives and CI programs.
