Job summary

TE Connectivity Malaysia is seeking a Production Supervisor to oversee daily manufacturing operations, ensure safety, quality and efficiency, and drive continuous improvement. This role requires strong leadership to manage production teams and coordinate with engineering, quality, and maintenance.

The ideal candidate holds a Diploma/Degree in Manufacturing or Engineering, with 3–5 years supervisory experience, and knowledge of lean manufacturing and ERP systems.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in manufacturing, engineering, or related field.
• 3–5 years of supervisory experience in manufacturing.
• Strong leadership, communication and team management skills.
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing and continuous improvement.
• Ability to troubleshoot production issues and implement corrective actions.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and ERP systems.
• Mandarin proficiency is an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily production activities to meet output and quality goals.
• Monitor schedules, resources and manpower for smooth operations.
• Enforce safety and compliance within the production area.
• Lead, coach and develop operators and line leaders for improved performance.
• Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce downtime.
• Collaborate with engineering, quality and maintenance to resolve issues.
• Prepare and review production reports with accurate data tracking.
• Support lean manufacturing initiatives and continuous improvement programs.
