Job summary

EB Frozen Food Sdn Bhd in Kedah invites applications for a Production Leader to oversee daily production activities and lead a team to deliver quality products on time.

You will monitor production data, coordinate with supervisors, and drive improvements while ensuring GMP, HACCP and 5S on the shop floor. Shift-based duties are required, and cross-functional collaboration is encouraged.

Qualifications

• Diploma in any relevant field (Food Science, Food Technology, Engineering, Science) or equivalent experience.
• Preferably 2 years in food manufacturing or FMCG; non-food experience welcomed.
• Understanding of GMP, HACCP, ISO, Halal; or training provided.
• Attention to detail in product quality, raw materials, and process hygiene.
• Good coordination and teamwork to support supervisors and other team leaders.

Responsibilities

• Lead production team to achieve on-time production of quality products.
• Report to executives.
• Record and maintain accurate production data (downtime, input, wastage, attendance).
• Identify bottlenecks and drive process improvements.
• Support food safety and regulatory hygiene on the production floor (5S).

Key Responsibilities

• To manage and lead the team to achieve the on-time production of quality products.
• To report to the executives.
• To record and maintain accurate production data including downtime, input, wastage, attendance etc.
• To identify and resolve issues/ bottlenecks in the production process and to do process improvement.
• To support food safety and regulatory requirements by maintaining proper hygiene (5S) and operational discipline on the production floor.

Job Requirements

• Diploma in any relevant field (Food Science, Food Technology, Engineering, Science, or other related disciplines) or equivalent working experience in manufacturing.
• Preferably minimum 2years of working experience in food manufacturing or FMCG production environment, but with experience from non-food industry is also welcomed.
• Understanding of GMP, HACCP, ISO, Halal, etc. or will be trained.
• Strong attention to detail, especially in product quality, raw material handling, process hygiene, etc.
• Good coordination and team work skills to support supervisor and collaborate with other team leaders.
• Willing to perform shift-based production duties.
