Job summary

BON FOOD INDUSTRIES is seeking a Production Supervisor in Kapar, Selangor. You will supervise a team of production operators, work with the Production Executive/Planner on planning and process improvements, and ensure daily targets are met with minimal rejection.

You will coordinate cross-functionally, maintain cleanliness and compliance with FSSC 22000, HACCP, GMP, Halal and safety procedures. You will organize operator assignments, conduct trainings, ensure SOP adherence, and prepare

• Possess strong leadership qualities, good interpersonal skills, communication skills, initiative and able to work independently.
• Diploma/Professional Degree in any field.
• At least 2 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with Production Executive / Planner for process improvement and production planning.
• Supervise, coach, motivate and lead a team of production operators to achieve daily targets with low rejection.
• Coordinate with various departments to ensure production plan is supported and meeting targets.
• Maintain good housekeeping to ensure compliance with FSSC 22000, HACCP, GMP and Halal standards and safety procedures.
• Organize and allocate machine operators to Group Leaders for daily tasks.
• Provide and record all trainings performed to workers.
• Ensure Group Leaders follow written work instructions and SOPs.
• Enforce company rules and regulations.
• Check and verify reports from Group Leaders; address non-conformities.
• Prepare & submit production daily, weekly and monthly reports.
• Counsel staff and address disciplinary issues and grievances promptly.
• Report unresolved problems to Executive or Management.

Job description

• Work closely with Production Executive / Planner for process improvement and production planning
• Effectively supervise, coach, motivate and lead a team of production operators to acheive daily targets (output) with low rejection
• Co-ordinate with various departments to ensure production plan is supported and meeting targets
• Maintain good housekeeping in production area to ensure compliance to FSSC 22000, HACCP, GMP and Halal and compliance to safety and work procedure
• Organize and allocate machine operators to the Group Leaders in carrying out the daily tasks
• Provide and record all trainings performed to workers
• Ensure Group Leader performing their daily tasks in accordance to the written work instruction or standard operating procedure
• Implement & enforcing company rules and regulations
• Check and verify report submitted by Group Leaders. Actions to be taken when there is any incompliance or non-conformities.
• Prepare & submit production daily, weekly and monthly reports
• Conduct counselling and ensure workers' discplinary issue & grievances are attended immediately
• Report to Executive or Management on any problems which cannot be resolved
• Must be willing to take on additional responsible and tasks as assigned by Top Management

REQUIREMENTS

• Possess strong leadership qualities, good interpersonal skills, communication skills, initiative and able to work independently
• Diploma/Professional Degree in any field
• At least 2 Year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position
• Preferably Junior Executive specialized in Manufacturing/Production Operations or equivalent
• Required to work on shifts
