Job summary

Samtec Asia Pacific is seeking a production supervisor to lead a team of production associates, ensuring safety, quality, and on-time delivery. The role requires strong data analysis, people management, and adherence to lean principles.

You will train staff, plan schedules, and drive continuous improvement in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate holds an engineering degree, but a high school diploma with relevant experience may be considered.

Qualifications

• Strong data analysis and problem solving skills.
• Experience in production/ manufacturing operations management.
• Lean and six sigma knowledge is preferred.
• Good communication and leadership abilities.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Manage, lead and supervise production associates to meet safety, quality, delivery and cost targets.
• Own area performance metrics and ensure compliance with EHS and quality standards.
• Provide training and certify staff per SOP/WI; conduct regular meetings.
• Coordinate scheduling, OT, and resource planning to meet orders on time.
• Drive continuous improvement and reduce waste, scrap and downtime.
