Job summary

Oliver Healthcare Packaging in Malaysia is seeking a Manufacturing Intern to support the Manufacturing Supervisor. This hands-on role provides exposure to manufacturing operations, productivity initiatives, and documentation practices to drive manufacturing excellence.

You will assist with line monitoring to meet quality targets, help prepare work instructions, perform data collection and root-cause analysis, and uphold safety and environmental policies while collaborating across teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in science, engineering, manufacturing or related field.
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing.
• Strong data collection and analytical skills.
• Strong interpersonal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (intermediate/advanced).
• Desire to drive accountability across project teams and cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Support the Manufacturing Supervisor to enhance manufacturing excellence and productivity.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

Position Summary

The Manufacturing Intern will support and assist theManufacturing Supervisor in activities focused on enhancing manufacturingexcellence and improving overall productivity. This role provides hands-onexposure to manufacturing operations, continuous improvement initiatives, anddocumentation practices.

Primary Responsibilities /Essential Functions

• Supporting production line monitoring to meet quality and productivity targets.


• Assisting with the preparation and compliance of manufacturing documentation such as work instructions and procedures.


• Contributing to quality and continuous improvement activities through data collection and root cause analysis.


• Adhering to safety and environmental health policies by promoting safe work practices and reporting concerns.

Required Qualifications:

Education:

• Bachelor's Degree in Science, Engineering, Manufacturing or closely related field.

Other Requirements:

• Knowledge of lean manufacturing.


• Strong in data collection and analytical skill.


• Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
