Job summary

Thien Cheong in Butterworth, Malaysia, is seeking a Production Executive to support the Operations Manager in planning and executing policies. You will oversee daily production activities across mixing, forming, frying, baking, and blanching to ensure products meet specifications and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Operation Manager and Assistant Operation Manager in planning and executing policies or instructions issued by the management.
• Oversee the production operations (i.e, mixing, forming, frying, baking, and blanching) to ensure that all the products produced according to specifications.
• Minimize the departmental manufacturing or production operation rejects and wastages.
• Analyses and to find the solution for every product that does not conform to specifications.
• Conduct on-job training for all workers wherever necessary.
• Ensure all workers follow the company’s and departmental rules and regulations.
• Ensure daily output can be maximize to support packing department with all products are within specifications.
• Ensure all ingredients (i.e kuah, flour and chemicals) and raw materials (beans) to be used are correctly weighted and recorded.
• To control and ensure all consumables (i.e sponge, cloth) and utensils usage (i.e cup, weighed, scoop, sieves, stirrer) are complying to food safety, HALAL, HACCP and MeSTI standard.
• To monitor, make informed and record on the daily cooking oil and diesel usage.
• To liaise with Sanitation Team for daily production floor cleaning activities.
• Report to the superior on day-to-day operation.
• Undertaking any and all other duties and responsibilities as instructed by the Superior or Company.
