Job summary

Ascension Advisory Pte. Ltd. is seeking a Production Engineer to oversee daily production activities in a Singapore EMS environment. You will drive continuous improvement, manage tooling, and coordinate across Production, Quality and Engineering to ensure targets are met.

Requirements include a Diploma in Manufacturing/Mechanical/Electrical/Electronic Engineering and at least 1 year in manufacturing. AWS and performance bonus accompany the role, with outpatient medical and dental benefits.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical or Electrical/Electronic Engineering or related discipline.
• Minimum 1 year of manufacturing experience.
• Able to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Familiar with ERP/SAP systems and MES.

Production Engineer (MNC / 5 Days / Up to RM4,000 + Allowances / AWS + Bonus)

Well-Established Singapore Electronic Manufacturing Services (EMS) Provider MNC

5-Day Work Week: Monday to Friday, 8:15am – 6:00pm

Salary: Up to RM4,000, commensurate with experience

Attendance Allowance: Up to RM150

Main Responsibilities

Monitor and coordinate daily production activities to achieve production output, quality and delivery targets.

Lead and support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, product quality and manufacturing efficiency.

Manage and maintain production tools, jigs and fixtures to support smooth and efficient production operations.

Troubleshoot production, process and assembly-related issues, identify root causes and implement appropriate corrective actions.

Monitor and continuously improve manufacturing processes, product quality and equipment performance.

Support engineering activities, including process improvements, documentation updates and production optimization.

Conduct cycle time studies, line balancing and productivity improvement projects to optimize manpower and production capacity.

Maintain and update Manufacturing Execution System (MES) data, process models and relevant production information.

Prepare, review and update Work Instructions (WI) and other manufacturing documentation.

Work closely with Production, Quality, Engineering and other relevant departments to resolve operational issues and improve production performance.

Ensure production activities comply with safety, quality, ISO standards and company procedures.

Requirements

Minimum Diploma in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical/Electronic Engineering or related discipline.

At least 1 year of working experience in a manufacturing environment.

Able to read and interpret engineering drawings.

Possess practical, hands-on knowledge of product assembly and manufacturing processes.

Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills in a production environment.

Knowledge or experience with ERP / SAP systems will be an added advantage.

Knowledge or experience with Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) will be an added advantage.

Candidates with experience in EMS, electronics, wire harness, cable assembly or electromechanical manufacturing are encouraged to apply.
