Job summary

KLK Alami Edible Oils Sdn Bhd is seeking a Production Planning & Operations Manager to lead production scheduling, optimize plant efficiency, and drive KPI attainment in a fast-paced edible oils facility.

You will manage budgeting, CAPEX planning, capacity utilization, and staff coaching, ensuring compliance with policies and safety standards while coordinating with other departments to introduce new processes and product quality improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 3 years of working experiences in similar industry or scope of work.
• Basic knowledge in Jerrycan blowing plant operations.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for managing and planning production schedules and activities.
• To ensure the plant operation is optimized and operating efficiently with high process reliability and low product reject.
• Responsible for optimizing capacity utilization and stock level management.
• Collaborate with other departments to executive commissioning of new process, new product introduction and product quality improvement.
• Responsible for the Production unit cost. To ensure that Production cost is within the budgeted figure.
• To achieve Departmental objectives or the Key Performance Indicator (KPI). Ensure timely completion of the Monthly Production Report along with other reports.
• Responsible for managing daily production issues, troubleshooting and all continuous improvement activities.
• To ensure all policies, day-to-day directives, rules, regulations and instructions are being cascaded and implemented all the way down to the operators.
• To evaluate, appraise, motivate and coach all production staffs.
• To assist in preparation of departmental annual budget within the stipulated time frame for discussion and finalization.
• Ensure project/CAPEX are properly planned, implemented, executed and completed within budgeted & dateline.
• Optimization of manpower and disciplinary control to minimize company’s overhead cost and maximize plant’s productivity.
• Ensure subordinate comply with rules and regulations stipulated by company and authorities.
• To perform any other duties as assigned by superior from time to time.
