Job summary

QDOS in Penang, Malaysia, seeks a Production Supervisor to coordinate day-to-day production line activities and lead operators toward output and quality targets. The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in engineering and the ability to perform 12-hour rotating shifts.

Training will be provided for fresh graduates as needed. The incumbent will ensure 5S and safety compliance, coordinate corrective actions on machine breakdowns, and liaise with Engineering on problem solving while maintaining proper

• Able to perform 12hours rotating shift.

Responsibilities

• Ensure 5S and safety regulations are followed.

• Ensure equipment calibration before use.
• Provide counselling and address operator issues (absenteeism, discipline).
• Train operators and update attendance records.
• Implement and enforce department rules.
• Ensure proper filing of documents.
• Lead stock counts and equipment control.
• Provide leadership in manufacturing activities.
• Maximize manpower and machine utilization.
• Liaise with Engineering on problem solving.
• Follow up maintenance/MC issues.
• Plan production schedules.
