Job summary

Karex Berhad in Malaysia seeks a Production Quality Specialist to ensure SOP and GMP compliance on the Primary Production floor. You will analyze product failures, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions to resolve issues, while supporting process control improvements.

Collaborating with QA, Engineering and Production teams, you will maintain audit-ready documentation and uphold safety standards to meet customer quality objectives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in science required; knowledge in chemistry or related fields preferred.
• Experience or fresh graduates encouraged to apply in manufacturing.
• Proficient in English and Bahasa Malaysia, both written and spoken.

• Ensure Primary Production floor processes follow SOP and GMP requirements.

• Liaise with QA, Engineering and Production to ensure smooth operations and timely delivery.
• Maintain and update work instructions to reflect actual practices; ensure audit-ready documentation.
• Adhere to safety and health guidelines at all times.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Production & Process Control Manager.

Job description

• Ensure Primary Production floor processes strictly follow Standard Operating Procedure and GMP requirements
• Analyse product failures, identify root causes, take correction, and implement corrective actions to resolve issues.
• Assist Production & Process Control Manager in process improvement and product development projects.
• Monitor daily process activities, ensuring parameters remain in control and targets meet quality objective.
• Liaise with QA Operation, Engineering and Production personnel to ensure smooth operation and timely delivery to customer.
• Maintain and update work instructions to reflect actual practice, ensuring audit-ready documentation.
• Ensure all safety & health guidelines are followed.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Production & Process Control Manager.

Requirements

• Candidate must possess at least a recognized Bachelor’s degree in any science discipline, chemical engineering & material science.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in manufacturing industry and/or fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Able to communicate well in English and Bahasa Malaysia both written and oral at all levels
• Proficient in MS office and Google drive application.
